GESHA COFFEE

Gesha coffee was discovered by British colonial explorers in Ethiopia at the turn of the century. It was later brought to Central America where plantations flourished due to the positive growth factors of the coffee plant within the region. This allows for the production of unique, complex, and distinct coffee. The Gesha coffee trees grow tall with elongated leaves and thrive in extremely high elevation regions.

Comments on the coffee flavor profile range from tones of “floral” and “fruity” to “sweet” and “vanilla”. These unique characteristics make Gesha coffee rare, exquisite, delicious, and subsequently expensive. Gesha tasted dramatically different from most of the others. And, by the typical standards of coffee experts, it also tasted dramatically better.

Gesha was incorporated into our Kwen name to reflect the unique characteristics of our brand.

We offer Gesha coffee through special purchase orders.
